What does being a "Progressive" mean?

In his introductory post at Young Philly Politics, Omar asks what issues a "progressive" candidate would stand for. He suggests term limits, campaign finance reform and non-Partisan elections. What do you suggest? What has come out of the post though, is an interesting discussion about what people think being a "progressive" actually means. Is it about "moving forward"? Or is it about a specific set of ideals? What do you think? |
